On March 1, 2018, EPA proposed rules to amend several provisions of the Disposal of Coal Combustion Residuals from Electric Utilities final rule (the “CCR Rule”). EPA accepted written comments on this proposal through Regulations.gov under Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OLEM-2017-0286 and held a hearing on the proposed rule on April 24, 2018. The comment period ended on April 30, 2018. SGR Hosts SEEA Board
SGR was pleased to host the Board of the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) for its 2-day meeting February 9-10. Steve O’Day was formally elected to the Board. SEEA promotes energy efficiency as a catalyst for economic growth, workforce development and energy security across 11 southeastern states. The Board includes representatives of important southeastern energy companies and institutions, including Duke Energy, Georgia Power, AGL Resources, CenterPoint Energy, Lockheed Martin, Opower, TVA, various providers of services and goods in energy efficiency, and universities including Georgia Tech and the University of North Carolina.
