NEW YORK (January 25, 2022) – Smith Gambrell Russell (SGR) is pleased to announce that the firm served as legal counsel to Wilder World, an immersive 5D virtual reality-based social network, to secure $30 million (USDC) to expand its New Dimension of Reality photorealistic metaverse. Well-established crypto firms Spartan Group, Animoca Brands, and Metakovan’s Metapurse, along with a number of other crypto backers, such as Defi Technologies, Anthony ‘POMP’ Pompliano and Boston Celtics co-owner Stephen Pagliuca, participated in the transaction. Wilder World is currently viewed as one of the top three decentralized metaverse projects gaining momentum in the virtual reality technology industry.
Launched in 2021 by 3D artist Frank Wilder, Wilder World is entirely operated by contributors and players with its own token, the $WILD token. This recent expansion is designated to assist Wilder World to further expand a metaverse around art that is monetized by nonfungible tokens (NFTs), digital units of data which are not interchangeable.
