Mr. Huff, partner, and Mr. Jett, counsel, join SGR from King & Spalding’s Charlotte, North Carolina office where their practice focused on rail and aviation industry transactions.
As a partner in the Global Transport Group, Jason Huff represents banks, financial institutions, equipment finance companies, lenders, borrowers, lessors, lessees, and other parties involved in the transportation industry in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, and other transactions. He has wide-ranging experience representing lenders and lessors in all aspects of domestic and cross-border equipment and structured finance transactions with specific focus on transactions involving rail and aircraft equipment. Mr. Huff speaks regularly at rail and aviation conferences and conducts workshops for clients on a wide range of topics in equipment finance. He is an adjunct professor at Wake Forest University School of Law and is ranked Tier 1 in Transport: Rail and Road – Finance by Legal 500 United States.
As counsel in the Global Transport Practice, Mickey Jett represents financial institutions, lenders and lessors in leveraged finance, secured and unsecured lending transactions and equipment finance transactions with an emphasis on business aircraft and rail equipment. Mr. Jett has been recognized a Rising Star Associate in Transport: Rail and Road – Finance and a Next Generation Lawyer in both Transport: Rail and Road – Finance and Asset Finance and Leasing by Legal 500 United States.
