We provide counsel in administrative matters before state Departments of Revenue, local Boards of Equalization and arbitration panels. In addition, we provide counsel in tax litigation matters in Georgia’s trial and appellate courts. We also provide clients with tax planning to structure corporate organizations and business transactions that minimize tax liability.

In addition to representing clients headquartered in Georgia, we also serve as Georgia tax counsel for several multistate and multinational corporations. We work directly with Departments of Revenue and local tax offices in dealing with proposed and final tax assessments and in working with clients in conferences and appeals resulting from proposed and final assessments. We have significant experience counseling clients about state income tax, state and local sales and use tax, intangibles tax and other state tax issues in addition to local property tax valuation and appeals and other local tax issues. We have represented several industries regarding tax matters before the Georgia legislature.
