The robust VIP Keynote Panel will explore and identify the business benefits of having women on boards. Esteemed panelists are: Hala Moddelmog, President and CEO of Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce; Jeffrey Tobias Halter, Gender Strategist and President of YWomen; Duriya Farooqui, President of Point A; and Elizabeth W. “Betsy” Camp, President and Chief Executive Officer of DF Management, Inc.

2020 Women on Boards is a nonprofit education and advocacy campaign (not a membership organization) that informs the public and collaborates with corporations to achieve greater numbers of women directors on corporate boards.  When 2020WOB was founded ten years ago, our original goal was to see 20% of board seats filled by women by the year 2020 — the milestone 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote. Through our campaign, and efforts of like-minded advocates across the country, that goal was achieved as of September 2019 — one year ahead of schedule! However, nearly one-tenth of all public companies in the U.S. still have NO WOMEN on their boards of directors, despite studies showing that having women directors improves corporate performance and profitability.
