About the SGR Webinar Series
Founding, operating and growing companies is a daunting task. For Black entrepreneurs, it can be even more challenging, given our country’s long-standing history of racism and injustice, and disparate treatment of the African-American community. While society has made great strides in this regard over the last 50 years, unfortunately, lingering prejudices remain, and Black business owners and professionals continue to face many obstacles, whether when trying to start new businesses, gain access to capital, or climb the corporate ladder.

SGR’s webinar series Barriers To Entry: Navigating the Challenges Facing Black Entrepreneurs will dive deeper into the various barriers to entry encountered by Black Americans in the business world, and will provide case studies on the challenges that entrepreneurs, business people, and in-house counsel in this community regularly face. The series will also highlight opportunities and examples of real-world success.
