Mina Zhan is an Associate in the Corporate and International Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. Zhan’s practice focuses on the areas of corporate formation and compliance, commercial transactions (including M&A, joint ventures, and buy-sell), HR and employment, customs and trade issues, and trademark counseling and prosecution.
Before joining SGR, Mina’s practice focused on business dispute resolution, restrictive covenants, employment law, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) claims and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) litigation. She also has practiced corporate law and Intellectual Property (“IP”) law in China, during which she counseled international companies in business formation and compliance, IP portfolio management, and brand protection matters.
Mina earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, her LL.M. in Commercial Law from the University of Bristol in Bristol, England, and her LL.B. from the South China Normal University in Guangzhou, China. She has passed the Chinese National Bar Exam and is eligible to practice law in China.
Mina is active in various community and professional organizations, including the National and Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association, the National Association of Chinese-Americans, and National Asian American Professionals.
