Thomas A. Spillman is a Partner in the Real Estate, Health Care and Sustainability Practices of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Mr. Spillman has substantial experience in representing the various interests of developers of all types of real estate developments. Mr. Spillman also handles the negotiation of leases for both landlords and tenants involving industrial, commercial and office projects. Another area of focused experience is the renewable energy industry, for which Mr. Spillman has handled real estate transactions and negotiations across the country including land acquisition, leases, rights of way, and lending and finance agreements.
In 2006, Mr. Spillman represented the landlord in negotiations for the leasing by a Fortune 200 Company of what was, at that time, the largest speculative industrial warehouse space deal in the Metropolitan Atlanta area (approximately 1,300,000 sq.ft.).
Mr. Spillman received his B.A. degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina in 1984. He earned his J.D. degree from Wake Forest University in 1988. Mr. Spillman is admitted to the Georgia Bar.
