Erin P. McCallum is a Partner in the Corporate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. McCallum represents domestic and international clients in a variety of corporate and transactional matters, with specialties in emerging company issues, venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
Her practice focuses on serving as legal counsel to clients at all stages of the business lifecycle, with routine representation of high-growth companies from inception through maturity. Her experience ranges from advising emerging companies on corporate governance, equity compensation and venture financings, to assisting established businesses on commercial growth initiatives in domestic and cross-border transactions, to representing buyers and sellers in strategic and private equity mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She assists clients across several industries, with a focus on technology, transportation (including, unmanned aircraft systems), manufacturing and professional services.
Ms. McCallum received her A.B.J. in public relations, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. She continued her education at the University of Georgia where she earned her J.D. from the School of Law, cum laude. While in law school, she worked with local entrepreneurs on a variety of legal matters through the Business Law Clinic. She is licensed to practice law with the State Bar of Georgia.
Outside of the office, Ms. McCallum is involved with many community and business organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Atlanta CEO Council and Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). She is also involved with the Atlanta tennis community as a member of both ALTA and USTA.
