Katharine Rowe is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice at Smith Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. Rowe advises clients in matters involving intellectual property, marketing, publishing, and licensing issues. She represents clients in varied fields, including publishing, visual arts, real estate, hospitality, outdoor recreation, insurance, transportation, retail sales, apparel, product manufacturing and distribution, and entertainment. Ms. Rowe handles large trademark portfolios for many clients and assists her clients in developing intellectual property global protection strategies. She handles complex intellectual property-related transactions.
Ms. Rowe is a member of the Board of Trustees of Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience, a University of Florida research institute.
Ms. Rowe received her B.A. degree in History and English Literature from the University of Michigan in 1980, where she was a James B. Angell Scholar. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1984, where she was an Edward Hennessey Scholar.
