Mr. Pressley represents clients in civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, focusing on complex business disputes.  His litigation experience includes complex contract disputes, products liability defense, pension plan, executive benefits, and ERISA claims, trust and probate litigation, construction disputes, real property litigation, fraudulent transfer claims, defamation claims, and employment non-compete disputes.  In his practice, Mr. Pressley has litigated cases through trial and appellate courts, and his published decisions include James v. Leigh, 145 So. 3d 1006 (Fla. 1st DCA 2014), which helped shape the legal landscape of the absolute litigation privilege in Florida, and Kablelink Communications, LLC v. Southern-Owners Insurance Company, 2015 WL 12844399 (M.D. Fla. 2015).

Mr. Pressley also regularly represents clients in intellectual property matters.  Mr. Pressley’s intellectual property practice includes trademark and copyright infringement disputes, licensing agreement disputes, trademark policing, takedown claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, anti-cybersquatting claims, and trademark opposition litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Pressley received his B.A. degree in Political Science, with honors, in 2005 from the University of Florida.  He earned his J.D. degree, with honors, in 2009 from Emory University School of Law, where he was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and is a member of the Order of the Coif.  During law school, Mr. Pressley received the Class of 1963 Scholarship and the Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund Award for 2009.  Mr. Pressley also interned as a law clerk during law school for the Honorable Judge Timothy C. Batten, Sr., District Court Judge for the Northern District of Georgia.
