March 28, 2025 – ESG Dive recently interviewed Stephen O’Day on the SEC’s decision to withdraw its defense of the climate-risk disclosure rule.

O’Day noted that “there are 18 states and the District of Columbia signed on as intervenors in the case that could decide to continue the rule’s defense in the agency’s absence.”
