April 3, 2025 – Atlanta Business Chronicle recently interviewed Edward “Jack” Hardin, founder and chairman emeritus of the Gateway Center and co-chair of the United Way’s Regional Commission on Homelessness, on efforts to address homelessness in Atlanta’s urban core.
“Homelessness is a mismatch between the cost of housing and the resources available to people who want to be housed,” said Hardin, who emphasized the Gateway Center’s role as the “front door” to critical services for those in need.
