NEW YORK (September 21, 2010) — The law firm of Smith, Gambrell & Russell is pleased to announce that New York partner J. Joseph Bainton was selected for inclusion in “New York Super Lawyers — Metro Edition” for 2010.

Mr. Bainton is head of SGR’s litigation practice in New York. He has, for 35 years, represented a wide variety of public and private clients in various types of commercial litigation. He also advises clients in the areas of intellectual property, accounting malpractice, corporate governance, and products liability. He is a member of The American Bar Association, The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, The Defense Research Institute, The Federal Bar Council, The International Trademark Association, and The Product Liability Advisory Council. Mr. Bainton received his J.D. degree from Rutgers University and his Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.
