Florian Stamm, a German native, is a Partner in the Corporate and International Practice at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Mr. Stamm practices corporate and international law with an emphasis on American-European cross-border legal matters. These matters include the acquisition, merger, financing, site selection and economic incentives, corporate governance and shareholder rights, business and family succession, as well as the establishment of subsidiaries in the American market. He serves as U.S. legal counsel to German, Austrian and Swiss companies, including privately held and publicly traded companies in the automotive, industrial, chemical and renewable energy sectors.
Mr. Stamm is a frequent speaker at conferences and events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Mr. Stamm is a member of the Georgia State Bar, the German American Chamber of Commerce and is active in Atlanta’s German-American community. He served on the Executive Committees of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia State Bar Section of International Law.
Mr. Stamm earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia. While in law school, he served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. As a teaching assistant at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, he taught a class entitled, “The Regulatory and Legal Environment of Business.”
