Carrie Armistead
Director of Library ServicesCarrie joined SGR in 2018 and brings several years of legal research experience as well as a background in public librarianship, training, and nonprofit research to her role as Director of Library Services. Carrie is responsible for management of all aspects of library services across all firm offices including legal and non-legal research services, competitive intelligence, new business intake research, orientation and ongoing training in research resources. Carrie continually evaluates the library’s collection and monitors the availability of new resources to ensure that she and her staff are providing the most efficient, cost-effective research assistance for the firm.
Carrie holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.
Carrie is active in the Atlanta Law Libraries Association and is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries. Carrie also serves on the DeKalb County Public Library Board of Trustees. She lives in Doraville.
