Jill Anderson is a Partner in the Litigation Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP. She is a member of the Firm’s Professional Personnel Committee. Ms. Anderson was previously a Partner with Freeborn & Peters, which combined with SGR in 2023.
Ms. Anderson represents clients in all phases of litigation, with a particular focus on critical and dispositive trial motions in complex cases and appellate practice. Her experience includes the representation of large companies, small businesses, and individuals in a wide range of state and federal commercial matters, including antitrust, real estate, class action, product liability, breach of contract and other complex disputes.
Ms. Anderson previously served on the Freeborn & Peters LLP Executive Committee and Professional Review Committee. She received her B.A. from the University of Florida, with honors, and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. She has served as a law clerk for Judge Norman C. Roettger, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Judge Martha Craig Daughtrey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
